The windmill Podersdorf is the largest windmill in Austria! It is fully functional and impresses above all with its technology. Originally, there were seven windmills in the Seewinkel - the only windmill that is still completely preserved and open to the public through its restoration is located in Podersdorf am See. The windmill is approx. 170 years old, has been listed for about 65 years and is still privately owned by the Lentsch family. If the conditions, wind direction and strength allow it, it will be put into operation. During a guided tour you can learn everything about the functioning and history of the windmill!
