Get to know unpronounceable but unforgettable deliciousness – real Pannonian Mangalitsa pork and beef from Hungarian steppe cattle; “grammelpogatscherl” and fresh fish from the lake; fruit and vegetables from the Seewinkel area prepared as tasty apple, pumpkin, cabbage or bean strudel.

Hot summers and mild late autumn days together with the humidity of Lake Neusiedl provide conditions for the ripening of high quality grapes.
Fruity white wines and full-bodied reds are pressed from the grapes in the Podersdorf am See area. Over-ripe, shrunken, botrytis grapes are turned into a liquid treasure. This unique sweet wine, called Eiswein, is known the world over.
Taste award-winning, nationally and internationally recognised wines at Weinclub 21, our local vinotheque, or directly at the wine-maker. Many wine-related events worth a visit are staged all year round. Start with the Pannonian Spring festival in April, followed by the Sun-Wine-Jazz and the Wine-Growers festival in summer, and end with the traditional Martiniloben with the new wines in late autumn.
