THE WIND STARTS BLOWING. SPRING IN PODERSDORF AM SEE. 

Spring at Lake Neusiedl has many faces 

And you know what? All of them are smiling! That´s no surprise, since there are lots of events and possibilities to do around the lake. Every year in spring you can watch a very special natural spectacle. In late autumn they left their natural habitat, but with the sun´s first warming rays and the fresh breeze they are flying back to the lake. It´s the wind and kite surfers. Their distant relatives, the sailors, are a little more weatherproof. Surfers need the sun, the beach and the beach bar. 

In May, the Surf Games take place in Podersdorf – there will be kite and wind surf competitions for all levels, a framework program full of action and a testival with all renowned surf brands.

The new wine is bottled and stored at the cellars. May the wine spring begin! In April, Podersdorf´s wine makers offer a tasting of their fine wines.

HOW DOES SPRING TASTE AT THE LAKE? JUST THE WAY IT SOUNDS LIKE. 

The culinary appealing journey continues in May. For three days, the town square in Podersdorf turns into a street kitchen. You can calmly walk from one food truck to the next specialty booth and taste over 300 delicacies from all over the world. Since you participated in the lighthouse run in April (right?), you earned it. You didn´t? Never mind. As you like it. 

Whether you are a tennis player or a dumpling counter, a kite surfer or a beach sleeper: everyone comes together at our hop on hop off event at the latest. 20 live acts at 20 facilities in Podersdorf make that festival a special musical experience.
