How to get the Neusiedler See Card: Excellent leisure facilities for free
Enjoy the best holiday attractions and leisure facilities around Lake Neusiedl!
You will receive the NEUSIEDLER SEE CARD at no cost if you stay as an overnight guest in Podersdorf am See from the 1th March 2019 until the 29th February 2020 and you can visit many recreational and holiday facilities in the region Neusiedler See.
The doors of many cultural attractions like museums and palaces stand open for you. Excursions in the Lake Neusiedl-Seewinkel National Park, the World Heritage Lake Neusiedl-Leitha Mountains Nature Park and the Roman quarry St. Margarethen are also free. If you would like to cross the lake by boat, travel with the Neusiedler See Card is half-price with certain lines.

Entry to lakeside recreation areas and open-air and indoor public swimming pools is free, as is using the public transport system and taking city tours in Rust, Eisenstadt, Sopron and Kapuvár.

Fill out an application form at your accommodation. The blue copy is your “voucher” that you will need to get the card. Hand in the blue copy at the nearest issuing point – the Tourism Office, the 4 Recreation Area cashiers or the camping-ground in Podersdorf am See.
All guests included on the application form will receive their own Neusiedler See Card on their 3rd birthday.The advantages offered by the Neusiedler See Card can be enjoyed as soon as you receive the card and it is valid for the duration of your stay.
