About us

Originally, today's Ettl winery was a so-called "mixed farm". Johanna and Paul Ettl grew not only grapes, but also vegetables and cereals. In the 1980s, the successors, Christa and Paul Ettl, focused on viticulture and began converting to organic farming. Since 2006, the next generation has been on board: Michael and Christian Ettl. The two will take the helm of the tradition-steeped Ettl ship in the coming years, with probably ever new routes and insights.

The motto remains: We work with nature. Not against it.

In our Vinothek you can taste and get to know the wines at your leisure.
Furthermore, we offer you a variety of selected farm products from the Neusiedler See - Seewinkel region.

An e-bike tour to the most dazzling bird of the Seewinkel and through Austria's largest contiguous meadow area.

Its colorful plumage and characteristic call make the bee-eater unmistakable and the mere sight of it stays with you for a long time. It owes its name to its ability to cope well even with defensive prey such as bees. But are these busy buzzers really its main food?

Price per person adult € 23.00, children € 11.50;

Registration by 4 p.m. the day before at the latest. Booking online at: http://www.nationalparkneusiedlersee.at

Equipment: Your own e-bike, sturdy shoes, clothing suitable for the weather (sun, rain and wind protection), water bottle.

The tour takes place in all weathers. We reserve the right to flexibly organize the content of the tour and adapt it to the respective weather conditions.

Meeting point: Entrance North Lido Podersdorf

From here, you can ride an e-bike to the bee-eater colony. It is essential to bring your own e-bike, but you can hire one from regional bike hire shops for a small fee. The fee for the bike is not included in the tour price.
