Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc. with headquarters at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by its users. The information thus generated is transferred to Google's server in the USA and stored there. We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for order data processing.

Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymized (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localization is possible.

The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the DSGVO.

The user data is kept for a period of 14 months.

Mouse tracking

Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Therefore, we use Hotjar to better understand the needs of our users and to optimize the offer on this website. With the help of Hotjar's technology, we get a better understanding of our users' experience (e.g. how much time users spend on which pages, which links they click on, what they like and what they don't like, etc.) and this helps us to tailor our offer according to our users' feedback. Hotjar uses cookies (see above) and other technologies to collect information about our users' behavior and about their devices (in particular, device IP address (collected and stored only in anonymized form), screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), information about the browser used, location (country only), preferred language for viewing our website). Data storage via our webshop

For the purpose of contract processing, the following data will be stored by us: Salutation, first and last name, address, e-mail address and optionally entered data of the user (company name, address details, telephone number). The data provided by you is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. No data is transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of credit card data to the processing banking institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the transport company/shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods and to our tax advisor for the fulfillment of our tax obligations.

After cancellation of the purchase process, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of the conclusion of a contract, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years).

The data name, address, purchased goods and date of purchase will also be stored until the expiry of product liability (10 years). The data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 para 3 TKG and Art 6 para 1 lit a (consent) and / or lit b (necessary for the performance of the contract) of the DSGVO.

Registration and user account

Users of our webshop can optionally create a user account. During registration, we provide users with the required information (mandatory fields and optional information). We use the data entered during registration for the purpose of using our offer. The information of users about information relevant to the offer or registration, for example, changes to the scope of the offer or technical updates, can be made by e-mail.

In the event that users terminate their user account, their data will be deleted from this account; an exception to this is data whose retention is necessary for reasons of commercial or tax law in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c DSGVO. The possible backup of data in the event of termination before the end of the contract is the responsibility of the user. We are entitled to irretrievably delete all user data stored during the term of the contract.

Both on the basis of our legitimate interests and on the basis of user interests in protection against misuse and other unauthorized use, we store the IP address and the time of the respective action by the user when a user uses our registration and login function in connection with his user account. The IP addresses are anonymized or deleted after 7 days at the latest.

As a matter of principle, we do not disclose the data to third parties; an exception are situations in which we have to pursue our claims or in which we have to comply with legal obligations according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c DSGVO.

Newsletter

You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. In order to provide you with targeted information, we may also collect and process additional information that users provide voluntarily.

For sending our newsletter we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will therefore send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration.

Google Re/Marketing Services

Our concern in terms of the DSGVO (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence. Therefore, we use the marketing and remarketing services (in short "Google marketing services") of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, ("Google").

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law(https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).

With the help of Google's marketing services, we can display advertisements for and on our website in such a targeted manner as to present users with only those ads that potentially reflect their interests. For this purpose, Google executes a code and uses so-called (re-)marketing tags, with the help of which an individual cookie is stored in the user's browser. The information collected may also be combined by Google with such information from other sources. If the user subsequently visits other websites, he or she can be shown ads tailored to his or her interests.

In addition, the IP address of the user is recorded via Google Analytics, but immediately pseudonymized (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localization is possible anymore, the ads are not managed and displayed for a concrete person, but for the cookie holder, regardless of who this cookie holder is. Of course, this does not apply if a user has explicitly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The user's IP address is not merged with the user's data within other Google offerings.
