More than 400 participants at the 16th Lighthouse Run in Podersdorf am See

In a great atmosphere and perfect running weather, 400 runners celebrated the start of the season on the unique running course around the lighthouse.

Lighthouse run organizer Wolfgang Gisch is very enthusiastic. The 16th Lighthouse Run in Podersdorf am See was a complete success. More than 400 runners of all ages took part over the weekend. Gisch is particularly pleased about the many children who were enthusiastic about running: "More than 100 children took part in our children's and toddlers' run".
The Podersdorf Lighthouse Run is the largest run in Burgenland. The special route around the lighthouse and the possibility for runners to decide on the length of the course during the run make the running event unique.
There was also great enthusiasm among the spectators. Hundreds of fans came to cheer on the athletes. The incredible best times of the winners are not least due to the audience, knows Gisch.
