Starting at 5:00 p.m. , you can try out various exercises with Markus at a variety of functional fitness stations—whether you're a beginner or a pro. Every participant will receive a goodie. And quite a bit of enduranceSince 1988, the Austria Triathlon has been as much a part of Podersdorf as the wind is to the lake. What once began with a small group of triathletes is now one of Austria’s most time-honored triathlon events.Swimming, cycling, and running take place throughout the Seewinkel region—on courses that look quite manageable at first glance. After all, the terrain here is flat. But anyone familiar with Podersdorf knows that the wind likes to throw a wrench in the works. And by the time you reach that section of the running course—which isn’t called “Hell” by accident—it becomes clear why the Austria Triathlon has had its own unique character for decades.From youth athletes to beginners to experienced long-distance athletes, there are a variety of races to choose from. This means the triathlon weekend is by no means just an event for professionals. Spectators can also experience the race up close along the courses and in the finish area.Those who compete are fighting for seconds, personal bests, or simply to finish.
