Halbturn Castle once served the imperial family as a hunting and summer residence.

The castle in northern Burgenland with its magnificent castle park is considered one of the most valuable historical sights in the country.
The attractive cultural program with its numerous events, the premium winery Schloss Halbturn and the castle hotel and restaurant Knappenstöckl attract thousands of visitors every year. In mid-April the castle opens its doors with the annual exhibition and in July and August top-class concert series of the "Halbturn Castle Concerts" take place. The garden exhibition "Gartenlust" in the historical ambience of the castle attracts numerous guests to Halbturn in August.
